It’s no secret; fall is a great time of the year to be in Asheville and the surrounding mountain communities. With a combination of cooler temps, a spectacular color show from the leaves, and an endless supply of adventure; fall is definitely one of the best seasons to get outside in Western North Carolina. There’s also no a shortage of events in the region, including area races.
Glory Hound Event’s 2019 fall race season kicks off September 14 with two very popular races, the Cherokee Harvest Half Marathon & Cherokee Harvest 5K (taking place a month earlier this year). Our season ends November 2 with a brand new race, the inaugural Land & Sky Relay. In between we have a something for everyone; including multiple 5K’s, a 10K, a trail race, an uphill challenge, a one mile walk, a scavenger hunt, and even a hero themed obstacle course for the kids.
This fall we hope to see you at the starting line at one (or a couple) of our races!
