Join us for the inaugural Red, White and Blue Ridge 5K in Cashiers, NC as we celebrate America and raise money for Blue Ridge School.

Stay on the Couch and Sponsor a Student Runner – $20
The race will start and finish at the Cashiers Recreation Center on Frank Allen Road and will be an out-and-back using Valley Road (gravel), Cashiers School Road and Cashiers Lake Road. This course is super flat with only 56 feet of elevation gain along the course.
This .5-mile run/walk will take place entirely on Frank Allen Road

We recognize that most runners have a lot of race shirts so we are making this shirt an a la carte item for purchase. Shirts are priced at $10 and may be purchased during online registration up through June 2, 2019
Shirts will be distributed from a tent right next to Packet Pickup before and after the race.
Please stay around for post-race food and drink and the awards ceremony .
5K awards will be given to the top overall male and female, the top masters male and female and the top 3 male/female in the following age groups: 14&Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70&Over.
The race will utilize chip timing. Chips are located on your race bib which must be worn on the front of your race clothes.
Some parking is available at the Cashiers Recreation Center, however, all cars must be removed no later than 11:00 AM to allow the town to prepare for that evening’s fireworks show.
The event has a NO REFUND policy. However, we do offer partial discounts for those canceling during our cancellation periods.
If the event is NOT sold out, a discount code for 50% of your race registration fee will be offered until 7 days days prior to the race date.
Partial discount codes are only available for cancellations of completed registrations. A registration is considered incomplete if payment was mailed in and has not yet been received.
Discount codes can be used to register for the 2020 event and will be valid for 12 months after the event date.
This policy only applies to the Red, White & Blue Ridge. Discount codes from the previous year may not be used for any other events owned or managed by Glory Hound Events or its partnerships.
Volunteers are the life blood of every successful event. If you would like to volunteer for our race, please email Allison Hawkins at firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate whether you would like to help at setup/takedown, registration, course marshal or water station.
