The desire we had to engage in this fight? ZERO. We’d gladly be anywhere else.
But now that we’re here, there’s zero chance of us giving up.
We are patients, past and present – unwilling to back down. We are friends and family, loved ones of those engaged in the fight to the end. We are employees and professionals, tired of seeing the people we care about suffer. Our passion is making prostate cancer a national priority and creating Generation ZERO – the first generation of men free from prostate cancer.
Our Run/Walk is our commitment made manifest. It is the time we come together, raising funds and sharing hope to declare one number above others: ZERO.
There is an end to prostate cancer. It’s us. Come join us on November 5 at Carrier Park in Asheville.
Online registration is now open for the 2017 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run and Walk on November 4.
Race Cap: The event is capped at 500 participants
$25 – Through November 1
$30 – November 3-4
$15 – Kids Dash
The 5K will run in and around Carrier Park, on the French Broad River Greenway and its beautiful surroundings. This is a very friendly course for both runners and walkers. The 1-Mile Walk will take place on the Carrier Park track with walkers completing 3 laps. The Kid’s Superhero Dash for Dad will also take place entirely on the track.

8:00-9:30 AM – Packet Pickup/On Site Registration
9:30 AM – Opening remarks and team recognition – Track
9:45 AM – Kids’ Superhero Dash for Dad – Track
10:00 AM – 5K Start – Track
10:05 AM – 1 Mile Start – Track
11:00-11:45 AM – Post Race Celebration – Infield
Overall awards will be given to the top 3 male and female. Age group awards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female in the following age groups: 15&Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70&Over.
The race will utilize chip timing.
Parking is tight at Carrier Park so we ask everyone car pool and allow plenty of time to get in to the park.
