THIS IS A FREE EVENT! While there are no entry fees, you must register to participate.

Event Schedule

Saturday, January 31

7:30-8:45 AM – Packet Pickup/Late Registration – Lower Level of the Hemlock Building, Haywood Community College

9:00 AM –  Start – Hemlock Building Parking Lot

10:15 AM – Awards Ceremony (Approximate time) – Hemlock Building

The entire event will take place on the campus of Haywood Community College using campus paved roads for a two-loop course.  It will start and finish in front of the Hemlock Building.

Swag

All participants will receive Ice Fest swag but you may also purchase a race shirt for $15 during registration.  The deadline to order your shirt is January 8, 2026.

All post-race activities will take place within the heated Hemlock Building, including the awards ceremony, which will begin at approximately 10:15 AM.

Awards will be given to the top 5 finishers, male and female.

The race will utilize chip timing. A timing chip will be on the back of your race bib, which should be worn on your front and visible at all times during the race.

We love dogs but this course is not the place for them.  They are welcome at the Start/Finish area provided they have all of their shots and are on a short leash.

All event parking will be in the Hemlock Building parking lots.  There will be no parking in the area around the front of the building where the event start and finish will take place.

The Frosty 5K has a NO REFUND policy.

You may transfer your registration  to another person.  There will be a $2 processing fee.

To transfer your registration to another person please log into Race Roster and select Transfer where prompted.  All transfers must be completed by Thursday, January 29 at 9:00 PM EDT.

This is the only way transfers or the selling of bibs between participants will be allowed. Anyone who is discovered to have purchased or accepted another person’s bib without submitting this form will be disqualified and banned from future races.
