Tobacco Prohibition
The Town of Waynesville has an ordinance prohibiting the use of tobacco and e-cigarettes in business districts, which includes the venue where this event will take place.
Following the race, participants may enjoy food and music, raffle drawings for the gift baskets and commemorative quilt and watch the awards ceremony.
Beginning at 11:00 AM and running through the weekend, those 21 and older may receive a beer inside Frog Level Brewing by showing your race bib. Due to Waynesville ordinances, the beer must be consumed inside the brewery or on their back patio.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female, the top masters male and female and the top 3 male/female in the following age groups: 14&Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70&Over.
We will also award a prize for the first dog/person team to cross the finish line.
The race will utilize chip timing. Chips are located on your race bib which must be worn on the front of your race clothes.
Well behaved dogs who have current vaccinations and tags are welcome. If you plan to run/walk with them, please make sure you register them during the online process.
We have two great parking options for you: the Haywood County Parking Deck on Branner Avenue or Haywood Builders Supply (100 Charles Street). Both are .25 mile from the race site.
There is no parking on Commerce Street during the event.
The event has a NO REFUND policy. We do not offer deferrals.
