COVID-19 Mitigation

  • Face coverings are required from time participants leave their vehicle to the time they start the race.  During the race it must be on anytime you are within 10’ of a person not living in their household.  After the race, it must put back on the finish line to the time they return to their vehicles.  Face coverings will be provided at the finish line for those who lose theirs during the run.
  • Face coverings are required of everyone in the car when picking up packets on Friday
  • Hand sanitizers will be available at Saturday Packet Pickup and in all portajohns
  • There will be a hand washing station near portajohns
Post Race

Due to state and county gathering restrictions, we will not be able to have our traditional post-race festivities.

After the finish chute, we will have snacks and a bottle of water waiting for you.  After receiving your food and drink, we ask you to proceed back to your vehicle.

We love dogs but this is not the place for them – either in the races or at the school or church. Anyone with a dog will be asked to remove them from the venue.

Limited parking is available at the Asheville Catholic School. Parking is also available at the following locations:

  • Former Steinmart shopping complex (across Merrimon Avenue)
  • Ira Jones Elementary School
  • Surrounding neighborhood side streets.

Note: Please hide your valuables. None of these properties are responsible for stolen items or damage to your vehicles

Please do not park in the North Asheville Animal Hospital parking lot across from the school on Beaverdam as they are open for business that morning.
