Thank you to everyone who came out for the 18th running of the Power of Pink 5K. What an incredibly beautiful morning to run and raise money for such an important program. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Results are posted below.

Entry Fees

Regular Entry (June 1-August 31) – $30
Late entry (September 1-Race Day) – $35
Add $10 for your dog

Groups of 5+ are encouraged and will get a discount on registration fees for the 5K. The group rate is $25 per person, groups must register under one “Team Name”. The group leader should register first, pick the team name and then group members may register under that same team name. There is no limit to the total amount of group members, the more the merrier!

Note: The entry fees posted below do not include service charges and taxes added by the registration platform. Those fees will be visible during the online registration process.

Stuff

All participants will receive a race shirt along with goodies from a variety of sponsors and supporters.

Raffles

We will once again raffle off Theme Baskets prepared and donated by Haywood Regional Hospital departments and other friends in the community. You may purchase your raffle tickets during on-line registration or on race morning. Tickets are 12 for $20 or 2 per ticket.

New for 2025: We will be selling Honor Bibs for $5 during registration and on race day to those wanting to honor friends and loved ones who are survivors and those battling breast cancer and those we have lost. After the event, these bibs will be displayed in the Cancer Center at Haywood Regional Hospital.

Tobacco Prohibition
The Town of Waynesville has an ordinance prohibiting the use of tobacco and e-cigarettes in business districts, which includes the venue where this event will take place.

Post Race

Awards

Individual awards will be given to the top three overall male and female, the top masters male and female and the top 3 male/female in the following age groups: 14&Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70&Over.

There are also awards for the Most Creative Participants and Fastest Dog. Team awards go to the department from Haywood Regional Medical Center with the most participants and a community organization with the most participants.

Cancellations & Transfers

The event has a NO REFUND policy. We do not offer deferrals.

This is a rain or shine event.

Transfers

To transfer your registration to another person please log into Race Roster and select Transfer where prompted. All transfers must be completed by Thursday, September 18 at 9:00 PM EST.

This is the only way transfers or the selling of bibs between participants will be allowed. Anyone who is discovered to have purchased or accepted another person’s bib without submitting this form will be disqualified and banned from future races.
